Role of the MGF The Mobile Giving Foundation (MGF) facilitates the applications, vets all Non-Profit Organizations (NPO's), and certifies all mobile giving programs. SUMOTEXT clients can launch mobile marketing programs instantly. After the mobile giving application is submitted, qualifying non-profits can begin raising money through sms donations in just 2-3 weeks on one of our sms giving codes.

SMS Givng Service and Transaction Fees

SMS giving transaction fees can vary based on your minimum monthly commitment and the estimated number of donations you expect to generate. In general, an approved charity can expect to keep $9.50 to $9.75 of every $10.00 donated via sms giving.

Minimum Standards for NPO's:

1. The 501(c)3 organization shall have filed a form 990 with gross revenues of at least $500,000.00;

2. Registered as a soliciting charity in all states in which the solicitation will occur;

3. Compliant with all applicable state and federal laws including remaining current with all required filings;

4. In good standing in its state of incorporation and in operation for at least 1 year;

5. An elected Board of Directors of at least 5 members with at least 4 meetings each year;

6. Spend its funds in a prudent and transparent manner and report its expenses, financial statements, and annual reports to the public.
